Toyota T-HR3
Toyota’s T-HR3 is a humanoid robot controlled through Toyota’s Master Maneuvering System, a full-body exoskeleton that lets a human operator control the robot’s movements in real-time with remarkable fidelity. Every movement of the operator’s arms, legs, hands, and torso is mirrored by T-HR3.
This teleoperation approach means T-HR3 can perform complex tasks in hazardous environments while the operator remains safely remote. Force feedback through the exoskeleton lets the operator feel what the robot feels, creating an unprecedented sense of telepresence.
