Pudu Robotics

Pudu Robotics is a leading manufacturer of commercial service robots for hospitality, healthcare, retail, and logistics. Founded in 2016 by Felix Zhang (Zhang Tao), a serial entrepreneur and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology CS graduate, the company is headquartered in Shenzhen, China.

Pudu has shipped over 100,000 robots to 80+ countries with 700+ distributor partners. Their lineup includes BellaBot (cat-faced restaurant delivery robot), KettyBot (compact delivery with advertising screen), HolaBot (60 kg payload delivery), FlashBot (elevator-integrated building delivery), and the PUDU CC1 commercial cleaning robot.

Investors include Meituan, Tencent, and HongShan (Sequoia China), with total funding of approximately $220 million. Pudu robots were deployed in 100+ hospitals during COVID-19, and approximately 80% of sales come from overseas markets. The original PuduBot won a 2017 Red Dot “Best of the Best” design award.
