HOBOT

HOBOT Technology is a Taiwanese robotics company specializing in automated window and surface cleaning robots. Founded in June 2010 by George Chao (who previously led the team that designed Taiwan’s first CD-RW player), the company is headquartered in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan.

George Chao created the first HOBOT window cleaner (WIN-68) out of personal frustration with cleaning large glass windows. The WIN-68 won the iENA Gold Medal international invention award. HOBOT is an independent, privately held company with all engineering and manufacturing based in Taiwan.

Current product lines include window cleaning robots such as the HOBOT S6 Pro and HOBOT S7 Pro with ultrasonic spray technology, and the LEGEE series of 4-in-1 floor cleaning robots. Products are sold in 40+ countries.
