ANYbotics

ANYbotics is a Swiss robotics company that builds autonomous quadruped inspection robots for industrial environments. Spun out of ETH Zurich’s Robotic Systems Lab in 2016 by eight co-founders including CEO Peter Fankhauser and Professor Marco Hutter, ANYbotics is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.

Their flagship ANYmal robot is a quadruped that autonomously navigates complex industrial facilities — climbing stairs, traversing uneven terrain, and operating in hazardous or confined spaces. ANYmal carries thermal cameras, visual sensors, gas detectors, and acoustic analyzers for routine inspections.

The product range includes ANYmal C (IP67-rated industrial inspection), ANYmal D (next-generation rugged model), and ANYmal X (ATEX/explosion-proof certified for oil, gas, and chemical plants). The company has raised approximately $150 million in funding and employs around 200 people.
