Roborock Saros 10R
Our Verdict: Pick this over the Saros 10 if mopping matters more than mapping. Auto-detaching spinning mops are the better wet-cleaning system.
The 10R is the Saros 10’s twin with a different brain and a different mop. Instead of retractable LiDAR it uses StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 with VertiBeam lateral obstacle avoidance, which keeps the body flat at 3.14 inches without any moving sensor.
The mopping is the bigger difference. Dual spinning mops replace the vibrating pad, and they detach automatically before the robot goes onto carpet, so you never get a damp rug. A FlexiArm riser extends the side brush and mop into corners, and the DuoDivide brush is rated by Roborock at a 0% hair tangling rate.
The AdaptiLift chassis lifts 10mm, with a further 17mm of mop lift, which is how it handles thresholds.
