The X8 Pro Omni takes a different approach to wet cleaning. Instead of pads or spinning discs, it uses an OZMO Roller — a 175mm roller mop scrubbing at 200 RPM that washes itself continuously as it works, so dirty water is never dragged across the floor.

The dock is among the most thorough on the market: hot water washing between 40 and 75C, 63C hot air drying, automatic detergent dosing at 200:1, and 4 litres each of clean and dirty water. Ecovacs rates the washing tray as maintenance-free for 150 days.

Navigation combines dToF with RGBD obstacle avoidance and AIVI 3D 3.0. Runtime is 228 minutes vacuuming, or 145 minutes vacuuming and mopping together.
