Next-gen ATEX quadruped with manipulation arm for autonomous inspection and light intervention tasks.
The Teledyne FLIR FirstLook 110 is a throwable micro-robot designed for rapid inspection of confined spaces, collapsed structures, and hazardous environments. Weighing 3 kg (6.6 lbs), it can be thrown through windows, over walls, or into openings, self-righting upon landing to immediately stream four-camera video back to the operator via the uPoint Multi-Robot Control System.
Originally developed by iRobot’s defense division (later Endeavor Robotics, acquired by FLIR Systems in 2019, now Teledyne FLIR Defense), the FirstLook 110 is battle-proven across military and civilian applications including post-disaster structural assessment, CBRN reconnaissance, and confined-space pre-entry surveys. Its four tracked flippers navigate debris, climb 18 cm obstacles, and handle 30-degree inclines. In September 2024, Teledyne FLIR Defense secured contracts worth up to $47 million to supply ground robots including FirstLook to the US Government.
