Sarcos Guardian S

Our Verdict: A uniquely capable robot for infrastructure that is simply unreachable by any other inspection method.

The Sarcos Guardian S is an autonomous snake-like inspection robot that navigates through complex pipe networks, ventilation systems, and confined industrial spaces that rigid-bodied robots cannot access. Its articulated body with dozens of individually controlled segments allows it to flow through bends, junctions, and diameter changes.

Equipped with cameras, environmental sensors, and optional NDT probes along its body, the Guardian S provides inspection data from deep within infrastructure that would otherwise require disassembly or excavation to access. Its AI path planning algorithm navigates pipe networks autonomously, mapping the route and capturing inspection data simultaneously.
