Honda Motor Co. is a Japanese multinational corporation founded in 1948 in Hamamatsu by Soichiro Honda. While primarily known for automobiles and motorcycles, Honda is a pioneer in humanoid robotics with ASIMO, one of the most famous humanoid robots ever created. Honda continues to invest in robotics research including avatar robots and mobility assistance devices.
