GROOVE X

GROOVE X is a Tokyo-based robotics company founded in 2015 by Kaname Hayashi, formerly of SoftBank Robotics. The company created LOVOT, a companion robot designed not to perform tasks but to be loved, providing emotional comfort through warm touch, expressive eyes, and responsive behavior. LOVOT uses over 50 sensors including a thermal camera to recognize and bond with its owners.
