The ANYbotics ANYmal X is the world’s first ATEX Zone 1 certified autonomous quadruped robot, meaning it can safely operate in environments with explosive gas or dust atmospheres. This makes it uniquely suited for oil refineries, chemical plants, and offshore platforms where standard electronics pose ignition risks.

Built on the proven ANYmal platform, the X variant features explosion-proof enclosures, intrinsically safe electronics, and certified sensor packages. It performs the same autonomous inspections as the ANYmal D but in environments where no other quadruped is permitted to operate.
