The TerraClear Rock Picker is a unique agricultural robot that solves one of farming’s oldest and most tedious problems: rocks in fields. Using AI-powered aerial drone surveys to first map rock locations, the system then dispatches an autonomous ground robot that navigates to each rock, picks it up, and deposits it in an onboard hopper.
Rocks damage expensive farming equipment, reduce crop yields, and picking them by hand is backbreaking work. TerraClear’s two-phase approach — drone mapping followed by autonomous picking — makes rock removal efficient and systematic. The system prioritizes rocks by size and location, clearing the most equipment-threatening hazards first.
