Ascento Guard
Self-balancing two-wheeled security robot with stair-climbing and LiDAR navigation.
The Moorebot Scout is a compact, AI-powered home patrol robot that weighs in at a pocket-friendly size, just 2.8 × 4 × 4.3 inches. Despite its small stature, it packs serious technology including a 1080p FHD camera with 120-degree FOV, IR night vision, and TensorFlow-based object recognition.
Monocular SLAM navigation enables autonomous patrols of your home, with the robot returning to its charger automatically between rounds. TensorFlow AI identifies human bodies and pets, sending push notifications through the app when it detects activity.
An open-source ROS control layer lets developers customise the Scout’s behaviour, making it both a practical security device and a platform for robotics experimentation. Mecanum wheels provide omnidirectional movement for navigating tight spaces.
