Johnson & Johnson Ottava Surgical System
Table-mounted 6-arm surgical robot with minimal footprint and Ethicon instrument integration.
The EksoNR by Ekso Bionics is an FDA-cleared robotic exoskeleton designed specifically for neurorehabilitation in clinical settings. It assists stroke survivors and spinal cord injury patients in relearning to walk by providing powered hip and knee movement with adaptive assistance that responds to the patient’s own effort.
SmartAssist technology continuously monitors the patient’s contribution to each step and automatically adjusts the level of robotic assistance — providing more help when the patient fatigues and less when they’re performing well. This adaptive approach drives faster neurological recovery by maximizing active patient participation throughout each therapy session.
